Hardware and software requirements
To use the educational portions of the Pennsylvania Medical Society website, it is suggested that you have the following hardware and software.
Hardware:
- Internet connection of 56K or better (DSL, cable, or broadband is recommended)
- Modem to support internet connection
- Soundcard (some activities include audio)
Software:
- Adobe Acrobat Reader (Free Download)
- An HTML/XML Internet Browser. We suggest Internet Explorer version 5.5 or better. A number of other browsers that support XML also work but have not been tested.
- Some activities require Windows Media Player (Free Download)
- Some activities require Microsoft Office products like MS Word
