Pennsylvania Physician Wins AMA Foundation Excellence Award

Hridayesh Singh Nat, MD, of Macungie, PA, received an Excellence in Medicine award from the American Medical Association (AMA) Foundation at a ceremony March 31, 2008, in Washington, DC. 

Dr. Nat is a third-year internal medicine resident at Easton Hospital. He graduated from St. Petersburg State Medical Academy in Russia. 

The AMA Foundation said he “is considered a spark plug for the research activities at Easton hospital.” He has done 27 presentations at the state and national level, winning five research awards. He is a member of the State Society’s Resident and Fellow Section Governing Council and serves as the resident representative on PAMPAC, the State Society’s political action committee.
